Meet the Doctors
Dr. Michael Kremer, MD & Dr.
Thomas Zettl, MD
Dr.
Michael A. Kremer, M.D. and Dr. Thomas
Zettl, M.D. are board-certified in
general surgery, trauma surgery, hand
surgery, plastic, reconstructive and
aesthetic surgery as well as
craniofacial surgery. They are members of the
Bavarian
Medical Association and are accredited by the Bavarian public health insurance association (KVB)
- granting a high standard of care.
Dr. Kremer
is a graduate from the Technical University of
Munich Medical School. Due to his academic
performance as a medical student, he received
a privileged scholarship by a public German
educational foundation. |
Dr. Kremer
did his residency in general, trauma and plastic surgery in Germany
at the
University of Bochum Medical School
and at the
University of Hannover Medical School
(MHH),
one of the most well respected departments of
plastic surgery in Germany. He
later was elected to enroll in a highly
competitive 2-year fellowship in craniofacial surgery
with Dr. Kenneth E. Salyer,
M.D., at Medical
City Hospital in
Dallas, Texas. This training was accredited by
the Accreditation Council on Graduate
Medical Education (ACGME) of the American
Medical Association.
After spending several years
in the United States, Dr. Kremer returned to his hometown
of Munich and founded his own plastic surgery
center in 2002.
Dr. Zettl
is a graduate from the University of
Bonn Medical School. He
received his surgical training in general
surgery, trauma surgery, hand and plastic
surgery in Germany at the Klinikum
Dortmund and at the University
of Bochum Medical School,
one of the most well respected departments of
trauma, hand and plastic surgery in Germany.
During his
training, Dr. Zettl spent time abroad in
Houston, Texas at the Texas
Medical Center and also later functioned as an attending at
the Evangelical
Hospital Dusseldorf. In 1996 he opened his
own clinic, spezializing in hand surgery,
outpatient general surgery and cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Kremer
and Dr. Zettl have successfully treated
patients together since their training in 1994
and have since then treated several thousands
of patients from Germany and over 30 foreign
countries, many of them coming from the Arab
Peninsula and Northern Africa.
